Good Morning Jerry,
Please see below and attached. We conducted an inspection of Queen City Metal on January 30, 2023. This
facility used to be located at 2800 North Tryon Street in Charlotte but moved to 601 W 24th St in Charlotte
approximately a year ago, according to the owner. They have not updated their address for their permit. They
also no longer have a SWPPP and are no longer conducting monitoring. The site is sheet flow to the street and
needs a designated outfall assigned.

Dear Ms. Coffino,
On January 30, 2023, Lauren Bradley of Charlotte -Mecklenburg Storm Water Services (CMSWS) conducted
an inspection of the above referenced facility as a requirement of the City of Charlotte's NPDES Permit,
NCS000240, Part 11, Section H. Inspection authority is granted by Charlotte City Code Chapter 18, Article III,
Section 18-82. At the time of inspection, the facility was observed to be in compliance with the City of Charlotte
Storm Water Pollution Control Ordinance; however, the following observations were made:
The inspection was also conducted as part of a cooperative working agreement between Mecklenburg County
and the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) — Division of Energy, Mineral and Land
Resources (DEMLR). NCDEQ — DEMLR has been copied on this report and made aware of the following
observations regarding the facility's NPDES stormwater permit:
1) Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) has not been developed, recorded, and implemented.
2) Qualitative Monitoring
Qualitative monitoring has not been conducted and recorded.
3) Analytical Monitoring
Analytical monitoring has not been conducted and recorded.
