Certification No. 4132 that was issued to DOT on August 3, 2021. Any additional requests for exceptions to the
moratorium will require further coordination with WRC.

Travis,
Division One has been pushing the contractor on Chowan Bridge 3 to get their in -water work completed by the 15t", but
they will not make it. They still have sheeting and H-piles to drive for the last end bent. The sheeting and H-piles are
scheduled to be delivered today. NCDOT expects the in -water work could be completed by February 21'
NCDOT requests in -water work moratorium relief for the Chowan Bridge 3 Project through February 21'. This will allow
the final end bent to be constructed and avoid the project being extended 4 % months.
