- Comments from MY2 report show encroachment issues that were not properly addressed in the monitoring
report. Replanting was required and should be evidenced in MY3
- 34/38 permanent v plots exceeded 260 stems/acre with an average of 432. 3 plots (25,29,36) were only 1 stem
below requirement and while plot 37 was 3 stems below requirements, a random plot was taken nearby with a
density of 445 stems/acre and all nearby plots exceed requirements as well. Thus, no remedial action is
proposed at this time.
- The vegetation problem area near plot 4 caused by feral hogs in MY2 has been replanted and herbaceous
vegetation has reestablished.
- The three areas of encroachment were marked with additional t-posts. The two larger areas (.19ac and .17ac)
were both replanted and have established well. No trees were harmed in the third .01 ac encroachment.
- Maps are well detailed and show all former problem areas.
- Diversity issues in plot 39, only 3 stems
- Photos provided from all prior problem areas
- Height issues across the entire site but especially in plots 9, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 31,
32, 33, 36, 37,38, 40, 41, 43, 44, and 45. All of these plots have over half of their stems under 3 feet.
- Pictures provided from every plot, difficult to make out any trees over the grasses
