Dear Mr. Christian:
Jesse Barnes, of the North Carolina Division of Water Resources (DWR), Winston-Salem Regional Office
(WSRO), conducted a compliance evaluation inspection of the Electric Glass Fiber America LLC, Lexington
Manufacturing Facility on January 20, 2023. Kimerly Burkhart, Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC), was
present for the inspection. The facility was found to be compliant with the subject permit. Inspection
findings are detailed in the attached Water Compliance Inspection Report.
Please be aware that the Division may take enforcement action against any permittee who fails to comply
with any requirement of their permit. Pursuant to NC General Statute (NCGS) 143-215.6A, a civil penalty
of not more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) may be assessed against any person who
violates or fails to act in accordance with the terms, conditions, or requirements of any permit issued
pursuant to G.S. 143-215.1.
