SUMMARY
Facility Description: USF Holland, Inc. is located at 5201 Sunset Road on approximately 16.5 acres of property in
Charlotte. USF Holland is a less than truckload (LTL) freight hauling/logistics company. Approximately 80-100 tractors
and 160 trailers operate from the facility. Both non -hazardous and hazardous (small quantities not requiring placarding)
goods are stored at the facility to be loaded onto trailers. Repairs and maintenance on tractors and trailers are also
performed at the facility.
File Review/History: USF Holland, Inc. was previously inspected by Charlotte -Mecklenburg Storm Water Services (CMS
WS) on 04/09/2008, 03/05/2013, and 02/05/2018. The facility received a compliant inspection in 2008, but was found to
be non -compliant with several elements of its NPDES stormwater permit in 2013. There was also a deficiency observed
during the 2018 inspection. In addition to the scheduled inspections, CMSWS responded to a diesel spill and fire at the
facility on 02/02/2013 and a chemical spill on 07/27/2015.
Inspection Summary: At the time of inspection, USF Holland Inc. was observed to be in compliance with the City of
Charlotte Storm Water Pollution Control Ordinance. Please refer to the report for comments and recommendations from
the inspection.
