Also, note the incident as reported in BINS did n t require a press release. The SSO, Incident No. 202201780, was located within Sub -Basin `K' d caused by a blockage in the line, which was observed during our weekly inspection and quic ly addressed by mechanically removing the blockage using our jetter. Community outreach in th area is ongoing to manage disposal of these items including FOG. The affected line segments are within a known problem area for having backups and have been routinely cleaned on a monthly cycle since January 2018. The lines were last cleaned prior to this incident on November 9, 2022. The District has permitted plans for the purpose of making known corrective actions for the problematic segment of sanitary sewer line (MHK419 — MHK417 SS R hab). Line deficiencies involve excess inflow in the portion crossing Chockoyotte Creek, and misalignment caused during Smith Church Road widening that contributed to hydraulic flow problems. Quotes are currently being taken for proposals to perform the WORK, but our RFP has not been sa sfactorily responded to. In the meantime, District forces will check the SSO manhole daily.
