Andy/Dave,
The contract for R-5768 has been awarded to the contractor and they are planning to begin work within the next couple
of weeks. We have a contractual obligation to conduct an environmental preconstruction meeting. Please advise if
either of you would be interested in attending this meeting. I am tentatively looking at next Tuesday 2/14 at 1 or
Wednesday 2/15 (any time) to have this meeting. There are two small sites associated with this project and NCDOT will
go over permit conditions for both sites even if either of you are unable to make it.
