The NCWRC has no comments/concerns to offer with the authorixation renewal/modification.
However, I am checking to see if our aquatic diversity folks might want to look for and move Brook floater (Alasmidonta
varicosa, NC Endangered) that may be in the way. I suppose there could be some safety concerns with folks doing an in -
water survey mid -construction, and it would require some coordination on schedule (I suspect they have at least couple
more months at least on new bridge work? — see photo). Kevin, would that be okay if TR and Michael want to go in
there? I am not sure yet whether they will deem it necessary, or perhaps they already did some mussel relocation (?).
