Dear Mr. Pitner,
We join you in welcoming Mr. Ezell to your staff and look forward to working with him.
We had a tragic accident this past summer with my father's passing. We certainly
appreciate your and your staff's understanding in this difficult time.
Immediately upon Mr. Meilinger's inspection, we followed his instructions to make a
temporary patch and pump to lower the water level. The patch was done instantly. We
began pumping within one hour. Photos attached.
That very day I approached the area's leading engineer, Mr. Sam Bingham. We
coordinated a visit with him to analyze and begin plans to repair the breach. The first
step was to hire a local contractor to properly patch the dam until his engineering work
could be done. Two days later the patch was completed. Photo attached.
We stand ready to repair the dike wall but unprecedented rains have not stopped. As
soon as we get a break, our local contractor will complete the work.
