The site is located on the east side of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., north of its intersection with Taylor Street within the Town limits for the Town of Chapel Hill in Orange County. The existing site is currently a gas station and 73 mobile homes. The proposed project keeps the 73 mobile homes, replaces the gas station, and adds a climate controlled self -storage building. Based on the 2T rules, the anticipated design sewage flow has been calculated to be 5,480 GPD. (250 gallons per fixture + 25 gallons per employee + 20 gallons per dining seat) There is an existing public gravity main in the public ROW of Martin Luther King Blvd. The proposed improvements include the construction of approximately 349 fl of new 8" gravity sewer and 72 ft of new 6" gravity sewer service.
