Will we get a letter saying we are good with what we fixed. Silt fence and mulch. Thanks again On Thu, Jun 30, 2022 at 2:12 PM Perez, Douglas J <doug.perez@ncdenr.gov> wrote: Hi Matt, First off, the buffer looks good with the mulch and silt fences. Thanks for doing that. Second, that is a lot of tree to remove from the buffer, especially given that they all look healthy to me. If the homeowners are concerned about wind blowing through the area, then I would suggest planting trees back into the area that you just mulched. The pines will lean as they try to reach the sun, like you see all along the lake. You can trim the trees up to 5o% of the height of the tree, provided that no large mainstem branches are removed. You can also remove any dead limbs on the trees. Just wanted to show you what we did for erosion control. If you have any questions please let me know. 704-361-8528 Also I have some pictures of the othe pines that we would like to remove because they are a danger to house when a wind storm would come. There are 25 pines that we would like to be removed. We have to have a letter that this will be fine to remove and replace with a safer tree for the homeowner association. Thanks again for your help 3 4 picture picture
