Mr. Perez, I will have my contractor look into this, I guess there was a large rain event in the area yesterday. We have scaffolding up for stucco and maybe on the back of the house some of the silt fence needs help. We will make whatever repairs are needed ASAP. Regards, Laurence A. I will head over there Thursday afternoon and see what I can find and whether or not a spot was missed when placing silt fencing down. I was at the house again this morning after we had rain yesterday (8/12). All fences are intact and mulch beds are holding. No silt is getting to the lake from the lot. Back of house: 1st of the 4 levels is catching all flow. Right side: the neighbor lot is blocked by silt fence intact, ground cloth is holding erosion. 2 levels of fence catch all water at bottom so we are not adding additional into said ditch. Left side: 4 levels of fence and terraced dirt are holding flow and directing to back of house that is holding Front: silt fence/ grading and temp gutters are pushing the flow to where are fences catch Additional: there is a natural ditch line that runs to area of contention from the back of the house. This is blocked by our silt lines and I added additional straw rolls into the ditch, if we had silt flow these would be covered so we would be able to track the flow. Both are intact and clean. F) Note: the neighbor has a 6" pipe that directs water directly into contested area. So if any silt is getting in the lake it would be from that pipe washing over existing silt pile. Today we had at one point 18 trucks in the driveway. I worked on site all day and kept everyone out of the cul de sac, since this was a major complaint it has been addressed. 1. Electrician was out today to get a count for plates and covers to make sure all areas for outlets and lights are addressed during stucco. 2. 1 had my punch guy working on site doing a cleanup to keep everything neat to avoid any complaints of a trashing site. 3. Window installers worked today and installed the large door in the basement and the two windows. They will complete work tomorrow on the transom high up on the back of the house. At that point all exterior will be in. 4. 1 had framers there today to frame down to the windows and tyvek the new wood for protection. 5. The tile crew was also on site starting prep work getting backer board in. 6. Scaffolding for stucco is on site and ready to go up. 7. 1 have foam board on site to cover and protect the front door from scaffolding and stucco. 8. Alan will have his guys there tomorrow to put up the stucco flashing, it was cut yesterday and picked up today. 9. Shane as you saw from the text was there to prep the ground for the scaffolding and to address any fence issues we had. As I stated in a previous text we go over after every rain and tighten up the fences. So we are not letting them get out of control. 10.. As a note like we talked about the ditch has been off limits to my guys until we have the meeting to get written approval. However, no new muddy water is hitting it from our side as we are catching with all the levels of fence we have up. 11. 1 have drywall guys coming tomorrow for a touch up in two areas 12. Cabinets are still on for Monday/Tuesday. 13. Lastly I will have the framers come back next week to address the profile above the deck to match the door and window. Wood is on site. Just making sure the crews can work around each other instead of running over top each other. It has been a good week on progress and my goal is to ramp it up further, while maintaining all areas where we have been getting complaints from the neighbors. Looking forward to the meetings on Monday. Travel safe and have a great Weekend. I have spent over $ 10,000 on silt fence, straw bales and cutting swales to redirect the water. The entire cul-de-sac drains on that lot and there has been a lot of rain. My builder tells me he has installed more and more silt fence and there are no breaches. My wife was out there a month ago and they were working on it then. I will be there Monday and Tuesday next week and I will survey the situation. We have a meeting Monday at 3:30 with a rep from DENR to talk about the ravine on the right side. The neighbor on the right has been very difficult. He sends pictures from 3 years ago to the HOA and complains about something weekly. The neighbor 2 house up on the left actually pull a gun on the surveyor on the lot next to mine. It's like the wild west out there. 12 I just talked with my superintendent and they had some rain this afternoon and the silt fences were doing there job. They have added mesh on the right side and installed new mulch in the lower section. Just today the neighbor on the right was yelling over the fence at my contractor. I will let you know what I see next week. Laurence A.
