Subject: Riparian Buffer Authorization Request for 8100 Bentwood Place
Hi Mr. and Mrs. Wright,
I've had a chance to review your application for a Riparian Buffer Authorization for the addition to your house at 8100
Bentwood Place and just have a couple of questions. It looks like your impacts into the buffer are in Zone 2 since Zone 2
is the outer 20 feet of the buffer. Zone 1 is the closest 30 feet to the stream. Also, it appears from the site plan that
there's more than 20 square feet of impact from the addition into Zone 2. It's important to have the impacts accurately
depicted so your Riparian Buffer Authorization reflects what's being done or you won't be able to get your building
permit.
Finally, I want to be sure that the riparian buffer depicted on the site plan is measured from the top of the stream bank
and not the center line of the stream.
