RE: Outfall 002 Four Benchmark Exceedances Within the Permit Term
This letter is to inform you that we now have had four benchmark exceedances for TSS
at our stormwater 002 outfall. The most recent lab report dated January 4, 2023 shows that our
TSS level was 106 mg/L with a benchmark of 100 mg/L for the month of December 2022. Our
stormwater permit requires in Section E-7 Table 5 that we first report the four exceedances
then prepare an action plan to address the exceedances. The action plan will be mailed to you
within the next two weeks for review and approval. Listed below are the dates and levels of
exceedances:
February 4, 2022 TSS
148 mg/L
May 27, 2022 TSS
151 mg/L
June 29, 2022 TSS
488 mg/L
December 22, 2022 TSS
106 mg/L

In the meantime, we will now follow the requirements of the Tier III status and continue
to collect stormwater samples monthly until reaching three consecutive months where we
achieve our benchmark requirements. If any other information is needed please don't hesitate
