To whom it may concern:
During the calendar year 2022, no biosolids were land applied to the permitted land for The City
of Albemarle permit No. WQ0002616.
The generator of the biosolids, NC0024244, as well as the associated collection system,
WQCS00016 is currently under a Special Order by Consent (WQ S 19-007).
One of the issues specified in the SOC, the "wwtp's inability to handle low concentrations of
BOD", coupled with the "high levels of inflow & infiltration" hindered the wwtp's ability to generate
biosolids.
