The following information is included with the submittal: Two (2) copies of the Fast Track Sewer System Extension Application and Supporting Documents • $480 Application fee • Location map • Aerial Site Map The project consists of the installation of approximately 900 LF of 8" and 10" CIPP; 8,000 LF of 8", 12" and 16" DIP gravity sewer; and 50 new manholes designed to improve the existing substandard collection system in the project area. The existing sewers in the project area are prone to inflow and infiltration and are undersized for the current service area and future development. From CCTV inspection, the existing sewers are in deteriorated condition and in need of repair. Trenchless rehabilitation was considered for as much of the project area as possible, but from survey data, it was determined that many of the pipes are of insufficient grade or are located near and under buildings, making trenchless application infeasible. Also, many of the existing public sewers do not meet current design criteria and are either less than 8-inch or do not have manholes at bends. This project will improve the collection system by reducing inflow and infiltration, increasing capacity, improving existing grade and hydraulics, providing appropriately size public sewers with manholes, and providing watertight manholes in the floodplain.
