Jennifer,
After review of the subject application, I have the following comments:
• No method of stormwater treatment for the new addition was provided.
• Although the treatment of stormwater within the footprint of the existing deck is not practical, collection of the
stormwater on the remainder of the house within the buffer is and therefore a method of stormwater
treatment should be included as alternative analysis.
• The movement of the existing septic tank outside of the buffer is a possible alternative; however, it may not be
practical.
• A through alternative analysis was also not completed such as the reduction of the back deck to the previously
existing steps that served as ingress /egress to the structure. In addition, was a structural issue present as to
why the sunroom could not be added as a second story addition.
These are just a few thoughts that I noted during my review process.
Thanks,
Anthony Scarbraugh
