The proposed project includes the subdivision of the existing parcel. Currituck County requires a 24ft wide access easement with a 20ft wide shared driveway for a subdivision of this type.
The existing driveway to the property has wetlands on both sides. The 20ft wide required driveway is proposed within the existing driveway footprint, but will require wetland to
accommodate the added width. 348 sf of wetland fill will be required for the new shared driveway. Included as an attachment is a copy the Currituck County Requirements for a private
access.
