EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLANS
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE
1. Submit a Land Disturbing Permit Application with erosion
control plan and supporting documents at least 30 days prior to
any land disturbing activity occurring. Obtain Certificate of Coverage
for NCG01 Permit.
2. Organize pre —construction meeting with Chatham County
Watershed Protection Department to review site plan prior to land
disturbing activities. Land —Disturbing Permit and Approved Plans will
be provided at this meeting.
& Install perimeter silt fence with reinforoed silt fence outlets,
gravel construction entrance, and driveway pipe with outlet
protection. Clear only as needed to install these initial measures.
4. Once erosion control measures are installed, land clearing may
begin. Clear only within the limits of disturbance.
5. Complete self —inspections weekly and within 24 hours or a 1.0"
or inter rainfall event. Reports shall be made available upon
VMaintain all erosion and sediment control measures in good
working order. Silt fence and other similar measures must be
cleaned out when they are half full. Replace stone at construction
entrance as needed to avoid sediment loss. Clogged silt fence

immediately following completion of clearing operations. Trees may

9.Once grading and construction activities are complete,
temporary measures are removed, and the site is permanently
stabilized, call Chatham County Watershed Protection Department to
schedule the find inspection.
10. Once the final inspection is complete the permit will be dosed
and no additional ground disturbing activities can occur. Obtain
Notice of Termination for NC001 Permit.
