On October 19, 2015, Mike Mickey of this office spoke with Jacky Spivey of VF Jeanswear
to confirm that the groundwater remediation system located at 1401 Hwy 601 South in Mocksville,
NC is still shut down. The treatment system has been inactive since November 2004 due to lack of
funding by the UST Trust Fund. It is our understanding that VF Jeanswear wishes to keep the
permit current. Our database shows that all annual fee invoices are up to date and the permit
expires next on September 30, 2016.
