Inspection Summary:
On 12/7/22 R. Sipe w/ WQROS-WaRO visited the facility covered under Permit# W00031246 at Riversound Development in
Chowan County. This was done to observe the current conditions at the facility as part of the review of a permit modification
application.
The facility has not been and has never operated, as was the case during the last inspection. Wastewater is collected in
the EQ tank and hauled to Hertford under a pump and haul permit. The EQ tank was approx. half full at the time of the
inspection.
The infiltration basin remains unused but the berms around the basin are being mowed
Conditions appear adequate for the proposed modifications.
