Hi Garcy,

As per our conversation today, the Beaufort Bridge #105 project was pulled out of the CAMA General Permit process
due to the fact that the NCDOT’s proposed design lowers the vertical clearance under the bridge. The CAMA General
Permit for bridge replacement projects requires that new bridges maintain existing vertical and horizontal clearances,
therefore, the project is being reviewed under the CAMA Major Permit process. Please let me know if you need any
additional information.
