Dear Mr. Eplin
This email serves as official notification that the Cargill Charlotte NC facility exceeded its TSS benchmark (100 mg/1) at
one of its Stormwater Outfalls SWO03 (TSS 110 mg/1) during the 4t" Quarter 2022 analytical monitoring event. We have
conducted our required Tier I inspection and are taking actions to minimize the future occurrence of TSS exceedances.
Please find attached the required DMR form. A hard copy is also being emailed to the NCDEQ Mooresville office. Please
contact me if you need clarification or have questions.
