From that meeting the following punch list has been produced, and much of the work is already in progress: 1. Installation of silt fence along border of jurisdictional areas (streams and wetlands) at the bridge crossing, including the upstream areas where the stormwater pond is proposed. 2. Installation of erosion control matting along the slopes of the drainage where clearing has taken place. 3. Removal of check dam in the stream channel. 4. After construction is complete on the bridge, and the permit impacts have been approved, the remainder of the stream will be restored as follows: a. Under the bridge - a riparian seed mix will be used as final vegetated cover for the slopes, along with appropriate shrubs if acceptable to design and maintenance. b. Outisde the bridge -live staking of appropriate tree species (to be chosen from EEP buffer restoration guidance and further site investigation). 5. Installation of silt fence or temporary diversion ditches along all fill slopes including: a. Backside of sediment traps where fill is used to construct them b. Stockpile and pad areas 6. Maintenance of sediment traps -cleaning out to ensure proper volume 7. Temporary seeding of exposed areas that are not currently being worked 8. Installation of orange tree-protection fencing or equivalent at boundary of jurisdictional areas adjacent to work areas to prevent encroachment. 9. All items but No 4 and No 8 to be completed by October 17. No 8 will be completed after survey and staking of the fence locations has taken place (ASAP). 10. The erosion control design engineer will review the measures to ensure that they meet the design criteria. 11. Weekly compliance inspections of the erosion control measures and jurisdictional areas will be performed by the design engineer or myself to ensure no further issues arise. I will keep you posted as to the progress. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments on this list. I wanted to get this to you ASAP, but can put it in letter form if needed. Also attached is a map summarizing the stream calls made on 9/8/07 and 9/28/07. If you have any questions or comments please let me know.
