plotsinfuturemonitoring.ArandomplotwasincludedforUT4,butnorandomplotswereincluded
inreestablishmentareasalongUT3.Pleaseincludetheseareasinfuturemonitoringefforts.
NorandomplotswereperformedinthereestablishmentareasalongUT3;however,permanent
plot20wasmovedtodemonstratevegetationperformancesuccesswithinthiscreditarea.A
randomplotcanbeincludedinthisareaduringMY2(2023),ifrequested.
SeveralmembersoftheIRThadquestionsregardingthegrowingseasondates.Clearwaterhas
indicatedinthereportthatthegrowingseasonwillbebasedonthelatest30yearWETSdata
(StationAsheboro2W,NC)andisdefinedasMarch18toNovember16.Thankyouformakingthis
change.

includedtheconstructionofmeandering,E/Ctypestreamchannelresultingin6974linearfeet
ofPriorityIstreamrestoration,617linearfeetofstreamenhancement(LevelI),833linearfeet
ofstreamenhancement(LevelII),450linearfeetofstreamenhancement(LevelIIwithan
adjustedratio),3.13acresofriparianwetlandreestablishment,0.114acresofriparianwetland
rehabilitation,and1.462acreofriparianwetlandenhancement.Thesiteisexpectedtoprovide
7742.933warmwaterstreamcreditsand3.937riparianwetlandcreditsbycloseout(Table1,
page2).AconservationeasementwasgrantedtotheStateofNorthCarolinaandrecordedat
theRandolphCountyRegisterofDeedsonApril9,2021.
Priortoconstruction,theSitewascharacterizedbydisturbedforestandlivestockpasture.Site
designwascompletedinMay2021.ConstructionstartedonSeptember6,2021andended
withinafinalwalkthroughonMarch8,2022.TheSitewasplantedonMarch18,2022.

MorphologicalsurveysforMY1wereconductedonNovember29,2022.Allstreamswithinthe
Sitearestableandfunctioningasdesigned.RefertoAppendixAfortheVisualStream
MorphologyStabilityAssessmentTable(Table4AI)andStreamPhotographs.RefertoAppendix
CforStreamGeomorphologyData.NostreamareasofconcernwereidentifiedduringMY1
(2022).
ThreebankfulleventsweredocumentedduringMY1(2022)(Table11,AppendixD).
Additionally,allSitetributariesshowedevidenceofchannelformationduringMY1(2022),with
eachstreamflowgaugedocumentinggreaterthan30consecutivedaysofflow(Tables13AFand

3.2HydrologyAssessment
Sevenofthe10groundwatermonitoringgaugesmetsuccesscriteriaduringMY1(2022).Dueto
constructionandfencingactivities,gaugeswereunabletobeinstalleduntilApril5andMay18,
2022.Gauge1capturedahydroperiodofjust1dayand,whichislikelybecauseitwasinstalled
alongoneofthefinalreachestocompleteconstruction.Withnormalrainfallandadequatetime
