I’ve finally heard back from the consultants and there explanation for the increase is as follows:

“temporary impacts were increased due to the revision in proposed channel work based on the pipe replacement on the
upstream and downstream side, the increase was also due to the necessary dewatering activities needed for
construction of the pipe replacements.”

Sorry Hannah. This project had slipped my mind. My only thought would be that this being an extension originally, they
didn’t need as much space to work. With the full replacement, they may have needed more. I’ll try to find someone to
ask about it.

This will take some digging on my part. This was Gordon Cashin’s project until this mod/reissue came up. I have no
background with the project previously. I’ll look around and see what I can find.

Good morning Jason,

I’m hoping to get the U-4405 re-issue out today but wanted some clarification on stream impacts for site 3 and site 4.
No temporary impacts show up on the original PCN or permits for these sites but they do show up on both the impact
tables. These number also seem to have increased from the plans originally submitted in 2017.
