Zach,
Sorry for the delayed response. Below are the answers to your questions:
It appears that there is one wetland impact and one stream impact with associated buffers.
o The application and maps currently show the stream crossing and buffers on page 22, but I wanted to
confirm that all impacts are associated with the one stream crossing since all comment sections on the
permit were blank.
■ Yes, all impacts take place at the stream crossing location. No other wetlands or buffers are to
be impacted.
o There is also a temporary stream crossing indicated on the maps, is this the one depicted in photo 14 or
is this something that we will need to add as a temporary impact?
■ Yes, the temporary stream crossing indicated on the maps is already in place since it was left
in place by a previous logging operation.
Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Stocks Engineering, PA

Hi Ethan,
I could not remember if we spoke about the questions in my below email via phone and I was not able to find anything
in my inbox, so I wanted to reach out to confirm the answers before I finish up with my review of Choplin Farms.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,

Hi Ethan,
If you have not heard, Colleen has accepted a position outside of DWR and a few of us at the RRO have taken on the
review of 401s.
In my initial review of the application a few questions came up that I wanted to get answered before I can proceed with
issuing:
• If you have any correspondence from the USACE or Colleen that you would be willing to forward to me, I will
make sure that I incorporate all info into the permit.
• It appears that there is one wetland impact and one stream impact with associated buffers.
o The application and maps currently show the stream crossing and buffers on page 22, but I wanted to
confirm that all impacts are associated with the one stream crossing since all comment sections on the
permit were blank.
o There is also a temporary stream crossing indicated on the maps, is this the one depicted in photo 14 or

Please let me know if you have any questions.
