Project Description
–
NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge #28, which is currently a (7) span 121’ x 24’ bridge, with a 160’ x 35’
(3) span bridge over Big Peachtree Creek in Nash County. Stormwater will be directed to dissipator pad
outside of Buffer Zone 2 in the southwest and northeast quadrants. There are 2023 square feet of
perpendicular impacts to Buffer Zone 1, and 1408 square feet of impacts in Zone 2 that will be associated
with this project.
