No modification of the stream banks is planned except for seeding, planting livestakes and installing erosion control matting. Installation of the rock vane will disturb the left stream bank. Any grading is limited to returning the bank to pre- construction condition. 2. The cross - section depicted on sheet 2 of 4 is the current channel condition with proposed plants and erosion control measures illustrated. Orientation is looking downstream, which is the convention for hydraulics. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. In reviewing the PCN and the cover letter there are several references to "reshaping the streambanks" and "reshaping the stream." However, based on the design drawings provided, I am unable to determine how you plan to reshape the streambanks or reshape the channel. • Can you provide me with a narrative or design drawings that show how you plan to reshape the streambanks and reshape the channel? For instance, please provide the slope angle /pitch that you plan to use, which banks you plan to slope, the extent of bank sloping, the proposed location of the reshaped channel, etc... • Related to the question above, I am unable to determine whether the Stream Channel Cross - Section Figure represents existing conditions or proposed conditions and which perspective the cross - section represents (e.g. looking downstream or upstream). Can you please clarify? • Please also provide contact information for an individual with the Grassy Creek Fire Department who is responsible for the property. You can respond directly to me. Please provide a response by February 23, 2015. 1 will place the project on hold until the requested information is received. Thanks and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Andrew W.
