Re: NPDES Permit No. NCC000001, Minor Permit Revision Request,
City of Havelock Requests for Membership as Co-Permittee for 2012
Dear Ms. Sullins:
On behalf of the Neuse River Compliance Association (NRCA) I am submitting a request for a
minor permit revision for 2012 to the above referenced permit. The City of Havelock requested
membership as a co-permittee member in the NRCA and they have completed all requirements set
forth by the NRCA Board.
The City of Havelock submitted an application for membership in July,2010. The NRCA Board
reviewed their application request and approved it subject to the City securing a funding
commitment for its Phase I expansion(this action was noted in the 2010 NRCA Annual Report,
Item #2, "Summary of Changes in the Association").
On September 07, 2011 we received confirmation from the City of Havelock that they secured a
funding commitment from USDA- Rural Development(and provided those documents to the
NRCA). Our apologies for not being able to include this request in our 2011 Mid Year Report but
the documents were not available to the NRCA before the report due date .
