Dear Ms. Sullins:
The Neuse River Compliance Association is pleased to submit the Mid-Year Report as
required by the referenced permit. As indicated in the enclosed Monitoring Report,Co-
Permittee members discharged an aggregate of 481,629 pounds of total nitrogen to the
Neuse River Estuary during the period of July 1,2008 -June 30,2009. The NRCA's
total estuary nitrogen allocation is 1,137,171 pounds.
This report is not for compliance purposes;however,the Association operated well under
this allocation for the annual period reported. We are very pleased that our members have
continued to strive to reduce nitrogen delivered to the lower Neuse River basin.
We hope the attached report provides the detailed information that the Division needs. If
