HomeMy WebLinkAboutNC0025321_SOC - Jan 2023 Quarterly Report_202301091/9/2023 Quarterly report This is the quarterly report as required by SOC Section 2 (B) 8. We have had few issues during this time other than what we think was a slug load that occurred during October. We had a substance hit the plant that dropped our alkalinity to 70. We notice for several weeks we had no ciliates or rotifers in the treatment process. This caused us to be out of compliance in October and carried over to the first week of November. Operation of the plant has been normal. We have been able to operate the belt filter press as needed, without any major breakdowns. We have one primary clarifier that we have been working on. We replaced the gear box and motor on the most northern primary clarifier. This has caused no issues in the plant. The construction of the temporary access road has started. The Army Corps of Engineers approved the permit to place a culvert in a small stream crossing. The road should be completed this week, and ready for construction equipment to arrive. Harper Construction has been to the plant numerous times making final plans for arrival of equipment. Wes Bratton, with Harper said they would be mobilizing in the next few weeks and be onsite by February. Should you have any questions or areas of concern Please don’t hesitate to let me know.
