Box 306 Phone: (336) 859-4231 Denton,NC 27239 Fax: (336) 859-3381 This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer Town of Denton (NPDES # NC0026689) 2022 PAR NARRATIVE GENERAL INFORMATION: GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION: • AT, STMP, SUO, ERP, and IWS are up to date. • HWA has been submitted and reviewed. • STMP was updated November 25, 2022 to show the addition of TN,TPhos, Dichlorobromomethane, and Bis (2-Ethylhexyl)Phthalate to POC as well as change Metals PQL to Method 200.8 • AT showed over-allocation of Zinc and Silver. The over-allocation is being rectified by conducting monthly uncontrolled sampling. The Silver over-allocation was based on Stream Standards and not having a limit in the AT and the uncontrolled load was larger than the MAHL. The Zinc over-allocation was based on Sludge Ceiling. We revised the SIU IUP limit but that was not enough, thus the increased sampling for 1 year. • NPDES Permit was renewed and went into effect on October 1, 2021 with expiration date of Feb 28, 2026 • All Dates on the Division's Database Program Info Sheet are correct • A copy of our Program Information Sheet is enclosed with corrections. SIU PERMIT INFORMATION: CENTURY HOSIERY PERMIT (#0001) INFORMATION: • Century Hosiery Inc. Permit#0001 was revised November 10, 2022,to reduce the limit of Zinc from 0.25 mg/L to 0.15 mg/L to address an over-allocation. Although this did not correct the over-allocation the revised limit remains. • No name changes at the SIU • No major process changes at the SIU during 2022 • No SNC violations were noted during 2021 Industrial User Information Century Hosiery, Inc., (IUP#0001, Knitting and Dyeing) SNC Information: Industry was not in SNC for the entirety of 2022 Orders and Schedule Information: No additional orders or scheduling changes needed A to C and Construction Information: No changes to pretreatment system made this year Missed Data: No missing data Enforcement Actions taken by POTW: No enforcement actions taken or warranted Other Miscellaneous Information: None Chapter 9, PAR Guidance Pretreatment Performance Summary (PPS) 1.
