Hi there,

Could someone please call Mr. Tommy Williams at 910 817 4448. He called Ryan’s number but it forwarded to me.
Here’s what I know:

Project “US706.” Sounds like DOT might be constructing a highway, in Rockingham (Hwy 1). Says they’ve tried before
and failed he thinks due to watershed issues. He says he owns private property in which this project will affect. Mentions
a city reservoir and 5 acres sold to the city for this reservoir. Mentioned 2 plats on Wiregrass Road. Asked if this is
DIVISION 8?

He’s trying to find the right person or branch of govt. who would ultimately make the decision for this to happen. He’s
not sure if it’s us or USACE. He’s made a bunch of calls and everyone says “not it.”

Very nice man, who, it sounds like would just like to know where the project stands and if there is any opportunity to
offer public comment about it perhaps? Or just find out if it’s really happening.
