REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Dear Mr. Perry:
On September 28, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your After-the-Fact application
dated September 27, 2007, to impact 0.001 acres of 404/wetland, 1201inear feet of perennial stream, and
10,112 square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffer, and 11,676 square feet of Zone
2 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffer, to construct the proposed residential subdivision. The
DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as
discussed below. The DWQ will require five copies of the additional information in order to process your
application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we
receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your
application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we
receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to
review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Please re-submit your site plans on full plan sheets at a scale of no smaller than 1"=50'.
2. Please explain why Cobblestone Way is not designed as a cul-de-sac.
3. For buffer mitigation (specifically restoration in this case) you must multiply the square feet of
impact of Zone 1 by 3 and the square feet of Zone 2 by 1.5, and then determine the plant density
required for restoration.
4. Please provide date-stamped pictures showing the condition of the current buffer. A currently
forested buffer cannot be used for restoration.
5. Please provide a plan sheet showing where each individual species of tree will be planted.
