Travis Sellers has been proactive in handling the day to day operations on the farm so that the farm would be in compliance with the permit issued. Due to an unavoidable and unexpected heart attack, Travis Sellers was unable to manage the farm and a violation occurred. 1- How these violations occurred - As the operator in charge (OIC) , Travis Sellers was unable to read the lagoon levels for a short period of time due to a heart attack. While he was recovering from his heart attack he had the farm staff read the weekly rainfall lagoon levels. Also, it was a wet winter, the fields were too wet to get the reel pulled out in the field to pump and get the lagoon levels down. 2- Steps that will be taken to prevent future occurrences - As the OIC, Travis Sellers will train staff on how to properly read lagoon levels and he will monitor and verify to make sure that they know how to correctly read and record lagoon levels. He will monitor the weather and lagoon levels and be better prepared for unexpected rainfall. 3- Copies of 2020 & 2021- to present Lagoon Level Records. In the future , if there is a reportable permit condition, Travis Sellers or 1 ( Debra Kinlaw) will notify the Division of Water Quality within 24 hours and send a written report within 5 calendar days . I will contact the county technical specialist to get a plan of action for the farm. Also, if Travis Sellers has future health issues, then I ( Debra Kinlaw) will be the backup OIC With regasfls, iCa' r J'tif Kenneth Kinlaw Debra Kinlaw
