The Division of Water Resources (Division) received your sludge survey information on
December 29, 2022. With the survey results, you requested an extension of the sludge survey
requirement for the lagoons atthe VF Farms, LLC facility. Due to the amount of treatmentvolume
available, and the rate of sludge accumulation for the lagoon, the Division agrees that a sludge
survey is not needed until December 31, 2027 for all5lagoons.
The next sludge survey for the lagoons at VF Farms, LLC should be performed before December
31, 2027. Please retain this letter and keep it with your farm records for reference.
