Dear Permittee:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the PWC/Fayetteville
Collection System on 12/13/2022. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating
in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit No. WQCS00007.
The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the
inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.
The PWC Collection System is overseen by knowledgeable staff and kept exceptionally organized. The
pump stations inspected include: #93 (Belly Hills), #81 (Inverness), #118 (Methodist), #16 (N. Street),
#17 (Orange Street), #38 (Quick Stop), and #2. These stations are all equipped with SCADA, had proper
signage, restricted access, and good housekeeping. Permit renewal application submitted in 2022.

Inspection Summary:
The PWC Collection System is overseen by knowledgeable staff and kept exceptionally organized. The Sewer Use
Ordinance/FOG requires grease traps to be serviced every 60 days. Grease educational information is distributed via mail,
as brochures, broadcasted on local radio, published in the newspaper, customer callouts, and social media. This system
has several HPLs which are inspected on a regular basis. These inspections, as well as maintenance records, are logged as
work orders. Work orders are detailed and include a map of the area addressed. The mapping for this system is available in
GIS and physical copy formats.Permit renewal application submitted in 2022.
There are 81 pump stations in this system, 11 being O&M. The stations inspected include: #93 (Belly Hills), #81 (Inverness),
#118 (Methodist), #16 (N. Street), #17 (Orange Street), #38 (Quick Stop), and #2. These stations are all equipped with
SCADA, had proper signage, restricted access, and good housekeeping.
