main located along Lumley Road for the proposed Lumley Road Industrial development located off Lumley Road in
Morrisville, NC. This project will consist of approximately 67,200 sf of industrial flex office building and associated
parking. The total wastewater flow generated by this project is 1,400 GPD. The anticipated date of the first effluent
discharge (certificate of occupancy) from the Lumley Road Industrial development is December 2022.

We've done a quick preliminary review of the referenced application and have the following initial questions/comments:
-The length of line and the design flow that are shown in the application (Items V1.7 and V11.1) do not match the lengths
and flow that is provided in the narrative. Please explain this discrepancy.
-Instruction F requires that the infrastructure (lines and PSs) be approximately shown on the USGS Topo Map.

I assume that 6-inch line isn't included in the application that was submitted?
I'm assuming it meets on of the Permitted by Regulation Requirements of 15A NCAC 02T .0303(a)(1)?
As required by .0303(a)(1), it must be approved by the local building inspector to be in compliance with the NC Plumbing
Code. If that and all other requirements of .0303 are met (and it's not included in the application), then it doesn't need
our (State) approval to be installed.

Wanted to thank you for taking time to talk this morning. Appreciate you doing whatever you can to help push this
along since we are in a bad spot with Durham with them holding the permit due to the pump station capacity. I do
understand you all are overwhelmed with the amount of applications coming, so again appreciate you taking time to
talk and help out whatever way you can.
One other quick note referencing Clay's email below about the sewer on the property side of the ROW, Durham is
waiting for DEQ approval before we are able to set up the precon meeting. Is this something we can proceed at our own
risk? We are talking about the area highlighted below in green.

Good morning Jason, thanks for the below information.
I wanted to follow up to see if we could get a conditional approval to at least install the sewer service on our side of the
ROW for this project. For the past 12 months we have been on hold while DCO performed their analysis for the pump
station that serves this project, the state confirmed Durham's findings, and we were allotted capacity and thus our
building permit was reissued to resume construction. As of today, I am erecting steel but am unable to start sitework.
Based on the below approval timeline and then holding a precon meeting to start sewer work we are likely unable to
perform sewer related activities until the end of January. I would like to request the permission to install sewer service
on our side of the ROW and no further until the permit is issued, is this something that you could entertain?
Please let me know if you would be open to discussing our options. I really appreciate the help.

We received that application on 11/17. Due to the volume of applications we receive, our other duties, and being short-
staffed, it's currently taking around 8 weeks to review and issue permits. We will get to it as quickly as we can, and we

Morning Jason,
I have another fast track into your office. Probably was delivered two weeks ago or so. I've shared with the client that it
can vary between 4 to 8 weeks and its first come/first serve for the review. This one took longer than expected due to
challenges with DCO's regional lift station. As a result the project is under construction and this is a hot item. The client
(copied) knows that this doesn't give them precedence to be skipped ahead. What I was hoping to gather was a approx.
timeline for where it stood. It's more for the client to schedule with their sub of expected date for release of
construction. If you could let me know when you get a chance that would be awesome.
