Robbie, I will be on vacation until July 25 Thanks, Annette From: Robbie Bell [mailto•Robbie Bell @bnkinc com] Sent: Monday, June 27, 2011 4.39 PM To: Lucas, Annette Subject: Beaverdam Greenway- Knightdale Annette, We met with you a few months back to discuss Beaverdam Subdivision and one of the suggestions made in the meeting was to eliminate the road crossing We were successful with the Town of Knightdale in removing the road crossing which eliminated the impacts to an unnamed wet weather draw (about 60 acres of drainage area) There was one other item that we should have talked to you about and that is a greenway trail We have suggested to the owner that we use a raised boardwalk perpendicular through the entire buffer (100' +) and build as you go and dodge any trees thus eliminating any impacts The boardwalk would be very natural looking along with the setting Is this something that DWQ would be OK with? I envision the boardwalk to mimic those that you see built in Cary that were designed for no impact (Example Hemlock Bluffs) I understand that the CORPS is fine with this type of boardwalk Thoughts or help?
