Through coordination with the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management (NCDCM),
we have received a copy of your permit proposal dated November 3, 2014 to construct a 1.54 -
space parking lot, and concrete sidewalk at 2701 Emerald Drive, adjacent to along "the Circle"
in Atlantic Beach, Carteret County, North Carolina.
A review of your plans reveals that the proposed activity will not involve work in wetlands,
waters of the United States or navigable waters of the United States. Therefore, no Department of
the Army authorization is required for your work. Should your proposed scope of work change,
please contact this office to discuss possible required authorization. Please be advised that this
does not relieve you of the need to obtain all necessary authorizations, including a valid permit
from NCDCM, prior to beginning work.
