Good Morning All,
The week of November 13 we had a fecal exceedance was due to seasonally early temperature changes causing
treatment problems specifically solid settling issues. The seasonal early and quick water temperature change caused the
Chlorine contact chamber to flip sooner than usual and solids that have accumulated and settled with time within the
contact chamber showed themselves. The contact chamber cleanout is scheduled as a preventative maintenance task
within our automatic generated worker order system. The contact chamber traditionally receives a yearly wash -out
however the ORC vacancy and staffing transition was occurring during the typical wash -out period and the cleanout was
not performed.
