DWR -DWQ Meeting Tomorrow (2- 20 -14) with Jennifer Burdette
Chuck,
WNR and Unique Places have a meeting tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm with Jennifer Burdette in Raleigh to discuss the IP
for The Quartz Corp's Pine Mountain project. I was waiting to find out if Tim would be available to participate by phone as
he had told me earlier in the week he would be in the field and may not be available. Since it looks as if he will not be
available to participate I wanted to reach out to you to find out if you wanted to and were available to participate. I will be
on the road in the morning by 8:30 but will be available through email or by phone.
Thankyou,
Jennifer L Robertson

Chuck,
The first two files that are attached were sent to Jennifer and Tim earlier this week — an updated permit summary and
updated impact map. One note - the Corps has approved the mitigation ratios on the permit summary document. I forgot
to send them the third file — an impact minimization table. I look forward to discussing the project with you and Jennifer
later today.

All,
I spoke with Amanda yesterday afternoon regarding a site visit within the next week which I think will help further explain
and justify the necessity for the impacts at sites 5 -7. It will also give you all an opportunity to see some of the other impact
areas as well as potential on site mitigation areas. Amanda indicated that she could be available next week so Peggy,
Todd (will be on vacation), Chris, and I will accommodate your schedules to make that happen. Tim, if you are not
available next week we will go ahead with the site visit since Amanda is limited on availability after next week. Please
respond with the times that work for you all.
