Zach, -Please see attached NCDMS Acceptance Letter for mitigation. -Impacts W1 and W3 will be for driveways to the back of the lot. The engineer did not prepare drawings for the driveway impacts. The culverts will likely be small diameter (12" or 18"). There is no stream in these sections so the culvert would not need to be buried below ground surface. It looks like the width of the impact is about 25ft to allow for driveway and utility (water power, communications) installation. -No filling of the pond is proposed. The homes on Lots 8, 9, 12, and 13 will be sited on high ground. Let me know if you need any additional information. Krissina Newcomb Hal Owen & Associates, Inc. Please provide a copy of this letter that indicates mitigation credits are available for the 0.156 acres of wetland impacts. • Are there more detailed drawings of the culvert impacts for W1 & W3? Something like the one included for W2. The project site plan (page 37) depicts lots over the existing —1 acre pond. The impacts requested in your application appear to be for wetlands only (W1, W2, & W3). o Please confirm that there will be no impacts due to lot fill/housing to the existing pond.
