On August 1, 2014 my office sent you notice that the penalties balance remained unpaid for the
civil penalty assessed against Excelsior Packaging Group by the North Carolina Department of
Environment and Natural Resources, Division of Water Resources, NPDES Section. The penalty became
due and owing on May 23, 2014. The current amount of Six Hundred Eight Dollars and Sixty Three Cents
($608.63), which includes investigative costs of $147.50 and interest of $11. 1 3 is now due. As of the date
of this letter, payment has still not been received and interest is accruing on the outstanding balance.
Please be advised that failure to remit payment immediately for the FULL amount of Six Hundred
Fight Dollars and Sixty Three Cents ($608.63) will result in the matter being referred to the North Carolina
State Attorney General's Office for further action. Payment should be made by check or money order
payable to the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources or "NCDENR" and sent
to my attention at the address below.
