State of North Carolina, party of the first pert, to the Town of
Princeville, 201 South Main Street, Tarboro, Edgecombe County,
State of North Carolina, party of the second part;
W I T N E S S E T H:
That the party of the first part in and for the
consideration of TEN DOLLARS ($lo.00) to it in hand paid, the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has remised and released
and by these presents does remise, release and forever quitclaim
unto the party of the second part, it successors and assigns, all
right, title, claim and interest of the said party of the first
part in and to a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
in Number One Township. Edgecombe County, State of North
Carolina, and more particularly described on Schedule A attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
The purpose of this conveyance is to add the required language
for the said attached property as the property was acquired with
a grant from Title Trust for public Lands, a California nonprofit
corporation, therefore, the following restriction shall be a
covenant running with the land as follows; The property
identified in the peed recorded in Deed Book 1355, Page 0055 of
the Edgecombe County Public Registry was acquired with assistance
from the State of North Carolina with funds from the N.C. parka
and Recreation Trust Fund and said property shall be dedicated in
perpetuity !or local park and recreational purposes for the use
and benetit of the general public.
