Stormwater Narrative
Existing Conditions and Project Scope Summary:
The proposed project is located on Rosser Pittman Rd in Harnett County. The site consists of
7.89 acres within the Cape Fear River Basin. The site is currently wooded with a residence to
be removed. Construction will consist of 8 single-family lots and associated utilities.
Required Stormwater Program:
The project falls under the definition of a Low -Density Development within a Phase II Tipped
area of Harnett County and therefore is required to maximize disperse flow.
The results of the combined routing are provided in the Stormwater Impact Analysis and
results for each analysis point are included.
Additional Design Standards:
In addition to stormwater control, erosion and sediment control and buffer requirements as
established by Harnett County and the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality
(NCDEQ) shall be met by the overall development. There are no stream buffers as required
by Harnett County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) on site. Wetland areas and stream
buffers shall be preserved within open space areas to be dedicated to and maintained by the
HOA. The project has no proposed impacts of streams or wetlands.
