This inspection was conducted to determine whether the system is being operated and maintained in compliance with General NPDES Permit No. NCG550000. Ms. Holly Whitson (Treasurer) was present during the inspection. Prior to the inspection, Ms. Armeni spoke with Mr. Daniel Davis (Fire Chief). He indicated that the schools were demolished in 2019 and the Fire Department was built. The system associated with this permit was removed and backfilled. A septic system permit was issued from the Local Health Department on November 25, 2020, and a new system was installed for the Fire Department, therefore this discharge permit is no longer needed. Ms. Armeni verified that the single-family wasterwater disposal system associated with this facility is no longer in use and was removed. No effluent pipe was observed.
