I was at the meeting in Monroe on January 6 and was surprised
that no one mention the Project Legacy Industrial Business Park in
Marshville. This project was started by Carroll Edwards of Marshville
and it will be on Highway 74 East between Union and Anson Counties.
This project is a vision of economic development that will transform
our area for generations to come.
Please check this out!!! The website is Legacy Industrial Park of
Marshville, NC. It says upon completion of the planned Monroe
bypass, the western entrance to Project Legacy would be a short

distance to I-485 and allow even faster access to the Charlotte-
Mecklenburg area.
If the Monroe bypass does not go thru it will be a constant traffic
jam on Highway 74 thru Monroe even with improvements.
