Mr. Boss,

The wastewater treatment plant was found to be in violation of the SOC for the month of
November. Upon review of the data, it was found that we were out of compliance for the Weekly
BOD. This was due to carry over from the month of October. We received a slug load of an
unknown substance and source, that reduced our alkalinity and raised the conductivity in the
plant. This reduced our PH buffering capabilities and caused a kill off in bacteria. The result of
this was very poor settling in the aeration basin. We will continue to closely monitor this and
attempt to find the source of the slug. Should you need anything else in this matter please let us
